For most non-Indigenous, urban and even agricultural people, fire is perceived as a destructive force and considered anti-civilisation. However, fire holds great spiritual meaning in Aboriginal culture, with many stories, memories and dance being passed down around the fire. Fire also connects Indigenous people to the land, with children as young as four learning about the healing powers of fire for the land and it’s symbolic significance in Aboriginal culture.

MaterialsCanvas I only paint on the highest quality double primed 100% cotton fine art canvas.
Paints I use either Jonsonja or Mattisse matte flow acrylic paint for all of my artworks.
All artworks are acrylic on canvas sheets unless otherwise stated.
Items marked 'Acrylic on stretched canvas' do not require framing and are shipped ready to be hung.
Care InstructionsDo not expose paintings or prints to direct sunlight.
Display your art in a cool, dry place.
Gently clean your canvases with a soft, damp cloth.
Avoid using household chemical cleaners, as they can damage the artwork.
Wrap your prints in acid-free archival paper before storing or transporting them.
Never stack multiple paintings against each other.
FramingMost of my artworks are on unstretched canvas sheets unless otherwise marked. We recommend having your artwork stretched and hung within a frame of your choice upon arrival to avoid damage in transit.
