This is 1 of 2 commissioned pieces I was contracted to create for global infrastructure conglomerate, AECOM, the same company which rebuilt the World Trade Center.
This painting represents Tjukurpa which refers to the creation period when ancestral beings created the world. It has many deep complex meanings teaching respect for the environment, the importance of sharing resources, and the values of honesty, loyalty, and generosity. It is a rich and intricate tradition that continues to thrive today, inspiring Anangu people and others around the world to learn and appreciate the wisdom of this ancient culture.
