Tjukurpa is an ancient and sacred part of Anangu culture and religious heritage, explaining their existence and guiding daily life. It provides answers to important questions, the rules for behaviour and for living. It is the law of caring for each other and the land that supports us. Tjukurpa tells of the relationships between people, plants, animals and the land. It is the past, present and future all at the same time.
Tjukurpa Wiru refers to a space for communication or “deadly stories”.
