This artwork shows how everything is connected, land, water, people and story.
The central community symbol represented by U-shaped people symbols sitting around a campfire is a meeting place where knowledge and stories are shared. The flowing journey lines symbolise this sacred knowledge being passed on to future generations, the movement of Country and our role in looking after it.
Lush greens and deep blues symbolise growth and Country thriving when it’s loved and respected. The reflective copper tones represent the richness of the earth and minerals beneath the surface.
Bush medicine leaves represent good health, rock pools represent abundance and protection while symbols of eggs speak to life, birth and the rewards that come from caring for Country.
