“Colours of Country” celebrates the vibrant colours of the land—deep reds, warm ochres, and shimmering bronze— reflecting the rich stories and connections embedded in Country. The central meeting places symbolise sacred sites where families come together to share stories, knowledge, and bush tucker, grounding themselves in culture and tradition.
The bronze pathways weave across the canvas, mirroring the interconnected journeys of people, families, and animals. Scattered with Kangaroo and Emu tracks, the artwork highlights the shared paths we walk and the enduring bond between people and Country.
This piece is a tribute to the beauty, resilience, and unity of the land and the life it sustains, honouring the colours and stories that connect us all.
