This artwork is a celebration of journeys, purpose and the strength of moving forward together. Kangaroo and emu tracks move across the surface, symbolising progress and leadership – two animals that never take a backward step.
These footprints represent the legacy of Rider Levett Bucknall, those left by the people who came before and those still being made today. They speak to connection, responsibility and the importance of walking together with purpose into tomorrow.
Flowing lines represent the journeys of RLB across Country and the many connections formed through partnership and collaboration. Meeting places surrounded by “U” shapes symbolise people coming together to share food, stories and knowledge.
Blues represent our natural waterways, dark greens for the richness of Country, metallic coppers for the journey’s guided by our ancestors and pearlescent greens symbolise a shared energy that carries us forward into the future.
