This memory piece, commissioned by Daryl, honours the deep cultural roots of his wife’s Mirning and Irish heritage. The artwork reflects the sandhills and beaches of Fowlers Bay, with a central meeting place symbolising family unity. Gold lines and green dots weave in the Irish connection, while rows of coloured dots represent the family’s journeys across the land from Fowlers Bay and Eucla. The painting is a tribute to the family’s heritage, blending the essence of both the Mirning and Celtic cultures.
