“Red Dirt” showcases the vibrant reds, yellows, and browns of the Australian desert. Central to the piece are symbols of males and females sitting together with their hunting/gathering tools, signifying community and shared responsibilities. Kangaroo and emu tracks weave through the scene, highlighting their significance to Aboriginal people. Footprints represent ancestral connections, while green dots symbolise the resilience of arid vegetation.
