This custom piece tells a story of journey, connection and home. Flowing through the centre is the shape of the Brisbane River, a natural line that holds together the places, moments and paths that have shaped Hayden and Kate’s lives.
Along the riverbanks are the traces of movement – Black Cockatoo, Echidna and Kangaroo tracks represent their love for native wildlife. Footprints symbolise a passion for travel and the journey from Adelaide to Queensland. U-shapes represent people gathered around the campfire – the friends they’ve made along the way.
Rich earthy tones and deep flowing blues blend into shining golds and silvers reflecting a life lived between land and water, the warmth of shared memories and the light they bring into each other’s lives.
